OOTD : the perfect summer jumpsuit

A while ago I was invited to a fancy birthday party. Don't get me wrong I like a champagny, Blair Waldorf themed party just as much as the "sitting on the grass and drinking wine from the bottle" types of fun so I was glad to have an event where I could finally wore my summer jumpsuit AND HEALS.
I got both of them from two different little shops, but as jumpsuits and wedges are the trend now I guess you can find similar ones anywhere :) Also my clutch is from H&M
I curled my hair ( loose and pretty ) and had a summery brown and gold makeup going on with some gold jewelleries.

toni&guy casual sea salt spray

I may be late to this trend but I have to make a post about the Toni&Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray. I discovered sea salt sprays last year ( through Zoella ) but at first I figured it's easier to make it at home. Well it didn't quite work out - maybe wrong 'how to' video or something else, I dont know..- but this year as spring hit in here pretty heavy and summer is just around the corner, I thought 'Why not buying a good spray?'. Well at first I had really mixed feelings. It wasn't doing much to my ponytail just left it wet and then my "clean-enough" hair, too dry. Now I know, I needed some special factors to make this work, and in 2 weeks I gathered them :D First I realized I didn't use hairspray ( -.- ) 'Good one there Kyra, not amateur at all..' Then I watched Zoe's video when she does several hairstyles ( here ) and I saw that it's better to apply some before doing the ponytail. Factor numero 3 was that I need a hair that is more "used" than only 2 days. And now what it does to my hair is great, although I still think if I had longer hair I could pull this off better, but that's a thing I can't change so quickly. I will have a makeup post where I used this baby on my hair so you'll see it in action ;)

#2014BloggerChallenge the perks of being an ombre

Hey there! :) I am SOOO sorry for the short hiatus that happened here, I was just a little busy bee with everything else. However I didn't want to "forget" or postpone this topic of the #2014BloggerChallenge, which is hair. Yes if you scroll down a little you'll see that I recently did a hair post ( seriously like a fortune-teller or something! ), but anyways I am attempting an other one as well. It'll be a more chatty thing. I would like to talk about being an ombre. And I don't mean the constant battle if I should dye it back, but more the connection with outfits. Since the 3/4 of my hair is blonde, I can wear more black and dark colours ( even on full). I don't want to say when someone has dark hair they can't wear black, but I think the contrast is better. And it saved me from so many pain and misery that when I went out, and didn't have the time to put together accessories, I could just put on a black dress with my leather jacket, brush out my hair and I was good to go. I just LOVED it! 
On the other hand now we're almost at the end of spring and going to summer. When summer, I tend to wear more white and some colours, so I am still debating if for the summer I should go back to brown or not? Please help me with some comments, what's your opinion, what should I do? Because wearing colours and having two-coloured hair is too much for me, but I still get compliments, so I am really confused. Whatever :D I don't know if this post was of some help to you, but I just thought I will sit here and type a bit about my hair:)

all about the braids

Hi lovelies:) Today I am here with a "never-done-before" post...it is all about braids you cheek y:D 
As I was hooked up on Teen Wolf, I had the chance not only to admire the boys on the series, but the gorgeous ladies, their style, makeup and hair. I think it will have a big impact on me in future post ideas, so lets get this one started! Actually the braids started from Zoella, then I saw it on Hello-October from Suzie and the boom came Lydia, Allison ( Teen Wolf ) and then the greatest "tutor(ial)" on Youtube: Cassie (she has not only Teen Wolf themed but any kind of amazing hari-tutorials and makeup as well). Eventually the braids came across me by just every living women on earth. Anyways here are a few of my recent braids that I am damn proud of! :)

So this was an easy milkmaid braid and I am serious when I say it was easy :) Excuse the ugly jumper. Credits to Emily from emiloue who has an incredible Lydia Martin milkmaid braid tutorial on her blog, you can check it out here! :) So simple, even I could "master it".

I was going to a party and didn't want to wash my hair so I just made an easy ponytail, teased the top of it and made a loose fishtail-braid at the lower half. Well the only problem was  that I got tired with holding my arms up as I braided:D

This one is a total Lydia inspired hairstyle. It consists of only a twist each side that turns into a braid and secured with some bobby pins. I don't know what was wrong with my camera, but I am kind of sorting it out, sorry! Also no idea why the sad face :D

And the last is a milkmaid one as well ( despite my early fear I fell in love with this hairstyle ). I seriously don't know what happened here to my camera...anyway, if you would like me to recreate these hair-styles step by step here on the blog just comment down please!:)

haircare routine

I can't believe I am finally writing this post. I know I promised it so long ago, but I was a bad blogger *slaps wrist*. However now it's here! And it perfectly matches today because it has been the most productive sunday of the last half year of my life, or so. And it feels so good, I slept so much but still I did everything I wanted so far and sunday hasn't ended:) - I know probably who cares, but anyways I wanted to share my pride over my skills of being able to maintain a perfectish sunday-. And what I'm talking about here is MY HAIRCARE ROUTINE. I hope this will be of some help to those who has ombre hair or just dyed hair. Firstly I use the head&shoulders shampoo and conditioner. One is in the ocean energy and the other is apple fresh kind. There's no particular reason why I use them, I just like the fresh smell of my hair thanks to these. After the shampoo and conditioner I use my Schwarzkopf Glisskur Ultimate Hair Repair conditioner or as I like to call my hair lotion. After you applied it on your hair you have to wait a minute and wash it out. And seriously it is MAGIC, it makes my hair so smooth and just...wonderful. I really-really recommend this if you have dyed hair!:) After drying my hair with a towel I spray the Pantene Instant Protection & Shine Spray that has a nice smell and protects my hair against heat. Last but not least if I just leave my hair as it dried or I straighten it, I use my Pantene Split End Mender Serum. It is kind of an oil that repairs or "nurses" the ends of your hair. I use it when my hair is dry but before I use the straightener. Oh and if you try it out, you don't necessary have to use so much, according to my experiences :) I hope this was of some help to you if you're looking for some hair products. everyday makeup

Hey lovelies! Today I will show you my everyday makeup routine. Although there are days I like to spice my face up (:D) or just keep it as simple as possible, this is what I use mostly. On my face I use my all time favourite Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer ( shade 001 at winter ) and the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation ( 200-soft beige ). Both used with my Oriflame brush. Also I use Avon's Diamond Sparkle/Shimmer face pearls and Astor SkinMatch Blush ( 001 Rosy Pink ) with my ebelin brush ( Blush Brush- Rougepinsel ). On my eyes I like to keep it simple and just use an eyeliner: Lovely ( matte ) and mascara: Maybelline Falsies and Catrice Better Than False Lashes. On my lips when I am not all about the colours I just use Manhattan Colour Loop Lipgloss ( in wildberry ). Sorry that my face looks rather yellow on the pictures but when I get ready in the morning there's hardly any natural lights and the table is not dirty, I just burnt candles there.. :)

Oh and my hair looks weird green, awesome (Y) :D. In case you're wondering, I didn't include my eyebrows because I want to do a whole post about the things I do to them ( this sounded weird..haha ). thoughts on ombré

Good evening! Lately I am in a big fight with myself wether I should keep my ombré or dye my hair back to brown or something like that. I wanted to write about this to share my experiences and maybe this way reach a decision. In august I told my hairdresser that I want to try a little bit of blonde, something like this:

Then in september I went back to ask for more of this blonde fun. It looked similar to this. It wasn't a lot but changes were needed in my hair routine. I had to keep the conditioner on my hair for 15 minutes after washing it, and I did it every time, so washing my hair became longer than it used to be other than that nothing changed.

I was gladly taking care of my hair but I still wanted that "Zoella kind of blondeness" in my hair, so in november I went back and they gave a lot to my hair, you could see how it looked like in my Christmas series, outfit and hair "episode" ( here and here ) .  Well now it was too much for me - I know I am horrible and nothing is good for me but that was how I felt it, I didn't want to go to school next day - but my friends seemed to like it and people complimented it so after a while I didn't worry about it too much. Now I am that kind of person who gets bored with anything very quickly and I think this happened with my hair as well. ( Nice one Kyra, you should have thought about it before you even started to destroy your precious hair ). I am still not sure what I want with my hair but on friday I had to go for a very much needed cutting and since then I like my hair better. It has a much nicer texture it looks nicer and just feels better. I am always surprised how much a small haircut could change your whole hair. Now I am doing a normal hair washing routine but I have a hair "cream" that moisturizes my hair, I use that always and I do the conditioner thing once a week. I have other products I am using on my hair occasionally, I intend to do a post about those in the near future :)

So currently this is my hair. As you can see ( or maybe not ) I have highlights because it gives a more "blended" look, and not just a strict line from where my hair is blonde. Tell me what do you think or if you have any tips or recommendations! Thank you :)

hair and nails christmas series #2

Hi everyone! I am here with the second episode of my christmas series and it is about hair and nails. First my nails: they are simply dark red from S-he and gold on my ring finger also from S-he. Then I think this year my hair will be straight with middle parting. But those ladies out there who want a bit more of glam I attached the picture of me last christmas when I had my hair curled. Also last year's makeup is pretty simple and glamorous. I don't want to sound big-headed but I just saw the pictures and thought "Damn that is not bad at all!" I am actually proud of my past year self. :) Merry Christmas Eve to everyone!
