hair and nails christmas series #2

Hi everyone! I am here with the second episode of my christmas series and it is about hair and nails. First my nails: they are simply dark red from S-he and gold on my ring finger also from S-he. Then I think this year my hair will be straight with middle parting. But those ladies out there who want a bit more of glam I attached the picture of me last christmas when I had my hair curled. Also last year's makeup is pretty simple and glamorous. I don't want to sound big-headed but I just saw the pictures and thought "Damn that is not bad at all!" I am actually proud of my past year self. :) Merry Christmas Eve to everyone!

christmas series #1 jewelleries

Good evening! Yes I am here today with another post. I planned this series long ago but unfortunately I didn't have the time to do it until recently. It's a little christmas series that include jewelleries, nails and makeup, hair and outfit. I wanted to put it up during the holiday season, but I think it's not really useful after the 26th because then comes the New Years eve craziness - well at least for me definitely- and I only worry about my look for the party from the 27th until the 30th - kind of :D -. So I will get these posts done until the 26th. It's my first shot in this topic, and I tried my best but sorry if everything looks pretty amateur. I actually will/would wear these clothes, jewelleries and makeup and my hair in this style so it's all authentic. Enjoy the first "episode" that's all about jewelleries. I am very fond of gold so all the stuff you can see here is in this colour. Also I didn't mean to wear everything from what you see here, these are just a few options from which I can decide the eventual look. I think I will definitely wear my watch, the necklace and some rings. I haven't really decided about bracelets. Oh and earrings of course, my current favourites are the animal ones I think those are little tigers or jaguars or something.

This bracelet was a gift from my best friends for my 18th birthday, I believe it is from Bijou Brigitte. I LOVE it !

My watch, I got it for my 18th birthday and I am simply obsessed with it. This is actually the first watch I am wearing almost every day ! From Bijou Brigitte.

As you can see I kind of only shop in Claire's and Bijou Brigitte and that I love gold. Yes I may be a little boring with jewelleries but believe me when I say I had my crazy, adventurous days in the area of jewelleries.

fail and favourite

Helloooo everybody! The Holidays officially started, I am so happy and excited. Although it's a time for me to relax in everyday life, it's a time to work really hard on the blog. I felt so bad that because of school and before christmas craziness I couldn't post much the last two weeks, that I scheduled myself fully for the winter break. I have a lot of post ideas and a lot of photographic work that has to be done, so don't worry everything is planned, I will hopefully flood you with posts :)
Now for todays tidbit: I thought I would do every once in a while a post about a product that failed me and a product that is just simply my favourite ( for a long time ).
In this post the failure has to be the NYC Smooch Proof LipStain. I had doubts even when I bought it because it just looked like a felt pen. I tried it out first at home. The only disadvantage was that it was almost impossible to remove it...for that time. The next day I used it in school and it just had the strangest effect on my lips. It was really like I just used a felt pen. It was very wet then very dry and the colour wasn't pigmented at all, seriously the best way to describe it is that it was like a felt pen, like a little girl playing and thinking about pens as makeup, lipsticks. It wasn't a complete fail because it stayed on all day but it just wasn't working for me. However the shade, Forever Mine Wine 499 is so pretty that I am determined to get something in it. 

And moving on to my favourite product, it is a fragrance by Dolce & Gabbana called The One. My friend had it for a long time and I knew when my birthday came last year that I need to get it as well. It's a lovely, sweet scent that is for me sophisticated too. I just love it and will definitely re-purchase it when it runs out.

latest basics

Hello everyone:) I hope you all have/had a lovely Sunday. I am here with a new blog post about four of my latests makeup purchases that are basics for me. The first is my all time favourite concealer, the Miss Sporty Liquid Concealer. I used so many tubes of it I can't even count. It's light, easy to blend in and just feels nice on my face.

The second thing is my powder. It is the Manhattan Soft Compact Powder in the colour 3 ( Beige ). I actually used a much darker shade on my face until the last week ( 9 ) which is perfect when it's summer and I liket it so much that it had to break in little pieces to make me realise I need a new, lighter one, and that oldie can still be used for contouring. This powder does a satisfactory job. It stays on well but when I am going somewhere late afternoon or something I need to reapply it.

The next is a mascara. Well I can't say this mascara is my all time favourite because this is my first try with it. I've used it for a week or so and I like it so far. Although I have to admit that I apply the Maybelline Falsies under this because that mascara separates my lashes pretty well but this Catrice Better than False Lashes gives a great volume and I even use it more than once if I am going out because it can create very dramatic lashes that I love!

As you can see it has a huge brush that I also like a lot! :)

And the last thing has become a serious addiction of mine. I just heard, read, seen everyone raving about them so I had to try it out myself. Yes it is the Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick, in shade 01. I really wanted 107 but they didn't have so I might order it online but I have to say I just love this one so much that I am fine for now. I would have never tought that a red lipstick will be a basic thing for me but it is and I just can't let go of it, I am obsessed, and I came to the conclusion that this growing obsession of mine is taking over anything lips related. You'll soon find out what I am talking about but I think I need help with it :D
