being sick

Being sick sucks! Apologies for my not too nice topic sentence but that is the truth. And I think it is delicate from someone who is home for 7 days in a row now. I hate sickness, not going to school and falling behind, not being able to go to parties ( concerts ), and not having a reason for using makeup ( also not really enjoying doing it ) and just everything. The sore-throat, tonsillitis, back-aching, head-ache, fever and other aching body parts. I would be more gutted if the weather was as nice as two weeks ago.
But I brought you some of my 'sickness essentials' to get through a day if you ( like me ) are sick in JUNE.
First is tea. I know this is not the real 'hot' tea - athough I'm sure you can heat it. But I took these pictures when I was feeling better so that's why is Nestea replacing real tea in a mug, what I usually go for beacuse hydration is really important. It helps get rid of the fever the bacillus and the pathogens. I normally drink water but after 5 days of hydrating, it's nice to spice things up a little bit.

Second is to have something that keeps you busy ( if you're well enough ) between two sleeps - because that's how you measure a sick day...eat,sleep, rave, repeat-. I like to use this extra free time to read and watch some series or films. Currently I'm reading Harry Potter all over again. If you've seen my Instagram you could tell I am a massive Potterhead.

From my medicines I only captured my thermometer ( important to use it regularly! ) because that's the boring part. :D

And we finally got to skincare. Just before I got sick my Avon purchase arrived and I used plenty of it in my sick days so here is just a tiny part of my sick skincare. This time I was so much better ( thanks to Avon because the excitement over new products helped ) with caring about my skin around these times and I was more grateful than ever for my moisturizer and my lipbalm that I spoke about here in the past. And the newcomer here is a foot moisturizer ( Avon foot work ) ! Yes, I finally bought some ( and believe me I really needed it ) and it has an amazing scent to it. And I always think when I use it that in Mean Girls they said that Regina's face smells like footcream, well if they use it I would totally be okay with the thing! :D
Anyways do you have any holy-grail sick trick or skincare product? Let me know in the comments! xx, Kyra

nude lips

Hiiiiiiii :) I am sorry for being a lazy bum but we just had a wedding in our family and I was totally occupied with that. I will do a post on it, soon, so keep an eye out ;) But now I will continue my obsession with nude lips and I will 'introduce' you three of my favourite nude/pinky lip thingies.
The first from alverde and it's a bit of a darker tone of a nude lip pencil, but it's lighter than it seems :D. As you can see I used most of it ( thanks to a party...) but I am definitely going to repurchase it!

The next two are quite similar, they're from Avon and Oriflame. Both of them are like lip thingies, sorry I am rubbish at knowing/describing their names. Softer than a lip pen but the Avon one needs some lipbalm or something under it to work properly. Also it is a more coral colour while the Oriflame one is pinkier but I just love both of them. They're natural, spring tones that are easy to use, go with heavy or light eye makeup, so I definitely recommend them!:)

Tell me your favourite lip products! I want to try out some new:)

lip products

Hello everyone I am here with a long promised post about My Favourite Lip Poructs ! Yaay :D So there are 6 products that I absolutley adore and used recently a lot.

The first two are from the brand essence and they are shiny lipglosses. The first is a light babypink colour ( 04, Rising Star ) that is great for everyday use and the second is a bright red with a hint of orange ( 021, Red Blossom ), ADORE it!

The third is a lipbalm which can also be used on cheeks but I only tried it on my lips and I have to say it does a great work on them. It's pigmented and very moisturizing. It's from Manhattan in the shade 001, Tomato Juice.

The next is a lipstick from NYC in shade 432, Red Rapture. I bought it to see if it's similar to the Rimmel Kate Moss 107, because it's not available here and I have to say I love this one ! It's so much better than the other NYC product I talked about on the blog, the Lipstain. This one is pigmented and surprizingly moisturizing.

And the last one is also from essence, it's a pink lipstick in shade 08, Colour Crush. I love the colour and it will be great for spring as well.

Those are all my current favourite lip products. What are yours? Leave them in the comments so I can check them out ;)

current favourite bits

Hi everybody! I am sorry for not writing all week but these are the last days before winter break and school gets crazy. Anyways I am here now and wanted to talk about three random favourite items of mine. The first is a bow. I bought it in H&M and I don't remember the price of it but it must bee cheap as it is a single, black bow. It looks really nice with my crazyblonde ombre hair and I just like to add it when I am wearing a ponytail. There's a picture of it on Instagram if youb would like to see it.

The next thing is also from H&M and it is a lip balm. This time of the year can be a killer for my lips. They tend to dry quickly and I just don't like it. This package is great I just apply the balm with my fingers. And the smell of it reminds me of baking with my granny ,smells like cake. And I also like the black, white and red theme that is going on.

The last items are jewelleries. I just realized they are also from H&M so we can call it an H&M haul. They are little rings in silver and gold and in different sizes. I wanted to buy rings like these a long time ago and I saw it in H&M and just had to bought it. They were around  £2, a bargain for 12 rings if you ask me. Excuse my wrinkly hand.

So what are your current favourites? Let me know in the comments :)
