toni&guy casual sea salt spray

I may be late to this trend but I have to make a post about the Toni&Guy Casual Sea Salt Texturising Spray. I discovered sea salt sprays last year ( through Zoella ) but at first I figured it's easier to make it at home. Well it didn't quite work out - maybe wrong 'how to' video or something else, I dont know..- but this year as spring hit in here pretty heavy and summer is just around the corner, I thought 'Why not buying a good spray?'. Well at first I had really mixed feelings. It wasn't doing much to my ponytail just left it wet and then my "clean-enough" hair, too dry. Now I know, I needed some special factors to make this work, and in 2 weeks I gathered them :D First I realized I didn't use hairspray ( -.- ) 'Good one there Kyra, not amateur at all..' Then I watched Zoe's video when she does several hairstyles ( here ) and I saw that it's better to apply some before doing the ponytail. Factor numero 3 was that I need a hair that is more "used" than only 2 days. And now what it does to my hair is great, although I still think if I had longer hair I could pull this off better, but that's a thing I can't change so quickly. I will have a makeup post where I used this baby on my hair so you'll see it in action ;)

#2014BloggerChallenge the perks of being an ombre

Hey there! :) I am SOOO sorry for the short hiatus that happened here, I was just a little busy bee with everything else. However I didn't want to "forget" or postpone this topic of the #2014BloggerChallenge, which is hair. Yes if you scroll down a little you'll see that I recently did a hair post ( seriously like a fortune-teller or something! ), but anyways I am attempting an other one as well. It'll be a more chatty thing. I would like to talk about being an ombre. And I don't mean the constant battle if I should dye it back, but more the connection with outfits. Since the 3/4 of my hair is blonde, I can wear more black and dark colours ( even on full). I don't want to say when someone has dark hair they can't wear black, but I think the contrast is better. And it saved me from so many pain and misery that when I went out, and didn't have the time to put together accessories, I could just put on a black dress with my leather jacket, brush out my hair and I was good to go. I just LOVED it! 
On the other hand now we're almost at the end of spring and going to summer. When summer, I tend to wear more white and some colours, so I am still debating if for the summer I should go back to brown or not? Please help me with some comments, what's your opinion, what should I do? Because wearing colours and having two-coloured hair is too much for me, but I still get compliments, so I am really confused. Whatever :D I don't know if this post was of some help to you, but I just thought I will sit here and type a bit about my hair:)

Hi lovelies :) Today I am here with an outfit of the day post. Now that I dyed my hair blonde I tend to wear all black almost every day. I just love black and it looks really nice with blonde. This was my recent favourite outfit. I am wearing Tally Weijl leggings with black boots from a shop I don't remember the name of, a simple black t-shirt and my father's shirt. I am wearing small, silver coloured rings from H&M, my brother's watch and my Harry Potter necklace ( <3 ) from ebay. It pretty much seems like that I'm living in the clothes of the male members of my family..haha. Sorry for my ugly fingers and strange poses but it was extremely cold and we wanted to do this "shoot" as quick as possible :D

thoughts on ombré

Good evening! Lately I am in a big fight with myself wether I should keep my ombré or dye my hair back to brown or something like that. I wanted to write about this to share my experiences and maybe this way reach a decision. In august I told my hairdresser that I want to try a little bit of blonde, something like this:

Then in september I went back to ask for more of this blonde fun. It looked similar to this. It wasn't a lot but changes were needed in my hair routine. I had to keep the conditioner on my hair for 15 minutes after washing it, and I did it every time, so washing my hair became longer than it used to be other than that nothing changed.

I was gladly taking care of my hair but I still wanted that "Zoella kind of blondeness" in my hair, so in november I went back and they gave a lot to my hair, you could see how it looked like in my Christmas series, outfit and hair "episode" ( here and here ) .  Well now it was too much for me - I know I am horrible and nothing is good for me but that was how I felt it, I didn't want to go to school next day - but my friends seemed to like it and people complimented it so after a while I didn't worry about it too much. Now I am that kind of person who gets bored with anything very quickly and I think this happened with my hair as well. ( Nice one Kyra, you should have thought about it before you even started to destroy your precious hair ). I am still not sure what I want with my hair but on friday I had to go for a very much needed cutting and since then I like my hair better. It has a much nicer texture it looks nicer and just feels better. I am always surprised how much a small haircut could change your whole hair. Now I am doing a normal hair washing routine but I have a hair "cream" that moisturizes my hair, I use that always and I do the conditioner thing once a week. I have other products I am using on my hair occasionally, I intend to do a post about those in the near future :)

So currently this is my hair. As you can see ( or maybe not ) I have highlights because it gives a more "blended" look, and not just a strict line from where my hair is blonde. Tell me what do you think or if you have any tips or recommendations! Thank you :)
